Marvel Comics’ Midnight Titles Sell Out Two Weeks Before Release; Second Printings Announced

The news about Marvel’s Midnight line just keeps coming, and today’s announcement is a big one.
Two weeks before the new line releases on October 7th, Marvel has announced that Midnight X-Men, Midnight Spider-Man and Midnight Fantastic Four have all already sold out at the initial print run. Collectively, the three titles have had over 1,000,000 copies pre-ordered.
In reaction to that, Marvel has announced a second printing of all three debut issues, featuring the uncloaked versions of Dike Ruan, Steve Beach and Kev Walker’s covers. The second printings will be available October 28th, meaning readers who aren’t able to get the debut issues the day of release will be able to pick it up before the second issues hit stands.
