New Characters And New Origins: First Look At ‘Capes’ #13
by Olly MacNamee
Capes #13 will feature an all-new Invincible Universe backup story from Robert Kirkman (Invincible), Nate Bellegarde (Nowhere Men), and Annalisa Leoni (Invincible Universe: Battle Beast) that will introduce Business Baby and Big Mildew in a six-part story revealing their origins.
The issue also kickstarts a brand-new story arc from writer Benito Cereno (Invincible Presents: Atom Eve, Blood & Thunder), artist Mark Englert (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), and letterer Rus Wooton (Invincible Universe: Battle Beast).
“In the aftermath of Dinosaurus’ attack, the heroes of Capes, Inc. face an even bigger threat — market competition! That means they’ll need new recruits and better ratings, because saving the day just doesn’t pay the bills like it used to.”
