Dynamite Offers A ‘Ben 10: Event Arrival’ Update
by Erik Amaya
Announced a while ago and on FOC earlier this month, Dynamite has offered a few updates on Ben 10: Event Arrival, the first collected edition of the publisher’s Ben 10 comic book.
The volume details Man of Action’s revamped origin for the title character, how he first encounter the Omnitrix, and his initial encounters with legendary foes. It’s a new telling of the tale for the 2020s and it’s clear the established fanbase is loving it. Dynamite recently announced the initial quintet of issues has surprised 500,00 copies sold and reprints of the first three issues are often issued. In the collector space, that’s awesome. But for those who want to read the story or catch up without the concern for collectability, this remains one of the best options to do so.
The volume comes complete with a cover from series artist Robert Carey.
It will also be a boon to comic book shops with the company announcing Friday that shops will enjoy a three month exclusivity window before it enters the book market. Additionally, the paperback cover will be different in each market thanks to an exclusive cover for comics retailers.
Ben 10: Event Arrival is due out on November 11th, alongside Ben 10 #6.
