Let me just start off by asking this: Who doesn’t love Mary Poppins? I know I do. The Oscars brought a new teaser trailer from Disney for the Poppins sequel, Mary Poppins Returns. I can’t even express how excited I am to see this face…
Sure, she’s not Julie Andrews, but Emily Blunt looks absolutely fantastic as the #1 Nanny in the world. I think she will do a wonderful job following Andrews. So, what will Mary Poppins Returns be about?
Here’s the synopsis from Disney:
In Depression-era London, a now-grown Jane and Michael Banks, along with Michael’s three children, are visited by the enigmatic Mary Poppins following a personal loss. Through her unique magical skills, and with the aid of her friend Jack, she helps the family rediscover the joy and wonder missing in their lives.
Sounds pretty great to me. If I had a nanny like Mary Poppins when I was a kid, I’d love to see her again as an adult. Take a look at the teaser trailer below:
