ICYMI: Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Delivers New Valentine’s Special

Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid is an anime that became the fan-favorite no one was expecting. The show centers around Miss Kobayashi, who builds a proxy family from anthropomorphic dragon people. This anime’s bizarre premise is only matched by its cast of endearing characters. It’s funny, emotional, and would never be green-lit on American television.
Despite being a die-hard fan of the show, I somehow missed that there was a Valentine’s Day special released. In my defense, the series had a final episode and I assumed that the show was over for good.

In this bonus episode, Miss Kobayashi and her dragon friends celebrate Valentine’s Day in their typical quirky fashion. Will the Dragon Maid Tohru finally hook up with Miss Kobayashi? Well, as it says in the episode title– don’t get your hopes up. But I can say that this is the steamiest episode yet and ends in the hot springs.
