An Abstract Adventure Comes To An End In ‘Book Of Forks’ From Rob Davis This Fall

From British comic book creator Rob Davis (Black Crown Quarterly) comes The Book of Forks, the third book in a trilogy that started with The Motherless Oven and continued in The Can Opener’s Daughter from SelfMadeHero. It’s somewhat of an abstract story, as the title of all three books in this series would suggest, so maybe have a read of the synopsis and enjoy the preview ahead of its release date this October. I must say, that last page, with it’s obvious shades of Moebius, does intrigue me somewhat.

Castro Smith finds himself imprisoned within the mysterious Power Station, writing his Book of Forks while navigating baffling daily meetings with Poly, a troubled young woman who may be his teacher, his doctor, his prison guard… or something else entirely. Meanwhile, back home, Vera and Scarper’s search for their missing friend takes them through the chaotic warzone of the Bear Park and into new and terrifying worlds.
