Hasbro and nWay have unveiled a trailer featuring the new characters in their season one of DLC. This first season of DLC will come with Power Rangers Zeo’s Trey of Triforia, also known as the Zeo Gold Ranger, as well as Power Rangers Time Force’s Jen Scott, the Pink Time Force Ranger. But for those who were looking for additional villains to play as, it will also include Lord Zedd, the lead villain of the second and third seasons of Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers. The trailer centers around both of the Rangers, and sees them using all of their unique weapons in their battles, from Trey’s golden staff to Jen’s twin swords. Also featured in this pass is a new skin: the original Red Ranger, Jason Lee Scott, with the Dragon Shield.
This season pass announcement also comes at the same time as a free update. Referred to as v1.3, this update adds improved matchmaking and Direct Match, which allows friends or any two specific players to match up against one another. It also enables crossplay between both the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One, as well as cross-progression to allow players to carry their specific progress between platforms.
The season one pass for Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is available now, and will cost players $14.99 on all systems.
Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, with a PC version coming later this year.
