A Crossover For The Ages Begins In MMPR / TMNT #1 First Look

The teenagers with attitude meet the heroes in a half-shell in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers / Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, an epic crossover that is sure to delight the inner child in all of us. Publishers Boom! Studios and IDW Publishing have shared an early preview of the first issue, due out in December 2019 from writer Ryan Parrott and artist Simone di Meo. This gives us just a taste of what to expect from this mini-series and I cannot wait.

MMPR / TMNT picks up was the Power Rangers arrive in New York City to find Tommy Oliver (The Green Ranger) fighting the Ninja Turtles. Of course, the first rule of any super hero team up is the inevitable fight that must occur first. There’s good reason this time around as it turns out Tommy has joined forces with Shredder and the Foot Clan. The Power Rangers must find a way to work with the Ninja Turtles to defeat the true villains and save the world from total destruction.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers / Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 features a main cover by Dan Mora, a Turtle Ranger Helmet variant by Goñi Montes, and more. It’s set for release on December 4th, 2019.
