Sunday Service (Part 1): Taking A Look At Antarctic Press

The first independent comic book publisher for your consideration this afternoon is Antarctic Press, a company that’s been in the business for 35+years, having been set-up in 1984 and supporting creator-owned comics ever since.
The 80s was a time of comic book publishing expansion as new publishers launched with a lot of initial success. First Comics, Eclipse and Antarctic Press are just some of the publishers that emerged in this decade, offering up stories that weren’t just all about capes and cowls.
Not all would succeed in the long run, but these guys are still out there and still producing creator-owned titles with a large back catalogue of titles.
A quick look at there newest released here will show you there’s comic books included that cover the familiar genre of super heroics, as well as a fun looking title, V-Card, a four-issue vampire comedy that even guests stars GI Joe’s Larry Hama. and one that is most certainly not to be taken too seriously, Barack Panther vs The Tremendous Trump. as well as horror title such s Teether.
