Dynamite Teams Up With Frank Cho For ‘Red Sonja’ Variant On Kickstarter

Dynamite has been running a few crowdfunding campaigns lately for limited edition variant covers. The latest is the biggest yet featuring work from Frank Cho on Red Sonja #13.

Cho says:

When Dynamite asked me to draw the Red Sonja cover, I jumped at the chance. Who doesn’t love a redhead with a sword? The cover will show Red Sonja at her best – power and beauty. My goal is to make her look strong, classic, timeless and iconic.

This cover is available in three versions including the standard edition with logo and color by Sabine Rich, a “virgin” edition without the logo, and a black-and-white version. There are signed copies available along with bundles of all three. Additional rewards include an 18×24” lithograph print, exclusive challenge coins engraved with the bust of Cho’s Red Sonja and a signature, and only 10 blank sketch covers that Cho will illustrate.
The Kickstarter campaign was funded in 10 minutes. It runs through May 14^th, 2020.
