‘Runaways’ Returns Next Week With Lead Up To Milestone 100th Issue
by James Ferguson
After a brief hiatus, Runaways is returning to comic stands this week. Written by Rainbow Rowell and illustrated by Marvel’s Stormbreaker artist Natacha Bustos, Runaways #32 is a great jumping on point for new readers. It follows the team as they pick up the pieces from their last adventure, facing life-altering choices and figuring out if they’re good at anything except making bad decisions.

“The Runaways have always been full of surprises,” says Editor Nick Lowe. “So we’re following in their footsteps and surprising YOU with Runaways #32 at comic shops next week. Gert, Chase, Nico, Karolina, Molly, Victor, Old Lace and Gib barely survived a stint as Doc Justice’s J-Team. What they do to pick up the pieces will shock you and the new arc “Come Away With Me” is the most devastating yet!”
Runaways #33, illustrated by Kris Anka, is right behind this one. These two chapters are leading up to the milestone 100th issue of the title using some Marvel Math. Runaways #32 is set for release on October 28th, 2020.
