‘Mario Strikers: Battle League’ Brings Mario Back To Soccer

Nintendo brings Mario back into the world of soccer with the announcement of Mario Strikers: Battle League. This time around, players will be able to customize their characters with different gear pieces that alter certain parts of their play style. There’s also access to special moves that score additional goals if they hit, and items that can change up the gameplay.  So yeah, get ready to be hit with a giant turtle shell while you’re trying to score a goal.

Mario Strikers allows for eight players in a match on one Nintendo system, and players can also form online clubs which will go against other clubs to compete for the spot of the best.

Mario Strikers: Battle League launches for the Nintendo Switch June 10th.
