DC Comics Announces ‘World’s Finest: Teen Titans’

Spinning out of the Batman/Superman: World’s Finest series comes World’s Finest: Teen Titans featuring modern retellings of the early adventures of the original Teen Titans as written by Mark Waid and illustrated by Emanuela Lupacchino,. That team will compromise of the original ’60s Teen Titans: Robin, Wonder Girl, Kid Flash, Speedy, Bumblebee and Aqualad.

Waid said of this new series and his part in it:

World’s Finest: Teen Titans #1 will be available at local comic shops on Tuesday July 11th featuring interior artwork by Emanuela Lupacchino, a main and 1:100 cover by Chris Samnee, open-to-order variants by Evan “Doc” Shaner and Jim Cheung, a 1:25 variant by W. Scott Forbes, a 1:50 variant by Lupacchino, a special foil variant by Cheung, and a blank sketch cover.
