Dark Horse Direct And Naughty Dog Offer A ‘Last Of Us’ Statue That Clicks With Me

by Anton Kromoff

Welcome to the table,

My wife loves video games. My wife does not like playing video games. What this means is that she will have me sit and play a game so she can watch. Normally this involves her directing me where to explore and then the moment anything scary, spooky, or mildly worrying appears she looks at her phone until the music chills out and things calm down. She normally offers “I don’t know how you do this.” or “This is way too stressful for me!”

This unique way of experiencing games forces me to stop working for an hour or two so we can hang out, and at the same time allows us to bond over a form of media we both like for vastly different reasons.

One of the most enjoyable experiences we have had doing this was playing through the first The Last of Us game. We have cats, so this beautiful statue will not grace our shelves, it is sure cool to look at!

Dark Horse Direct and Naughty Dog are working together to celebrate the franchise, and the upcoming 10th year anniversary of The Last of Us Part I, with an all-new, limited edition The Last of Us Part II—Clicker Statue! The Clicker Statue brings the terrifying Cordyceps-infected creatures to life, poised and ready to attack.

Sculpted in disgusting detail from fungal face to tattered clothes, the clicker crouches 12 inches tall on a 10-inch base, and is sized to scale with Dark Horse Direct’s previous statues of Joel, Abby, and Ellie with Bow. Now, fans can relive the most intense moments of The Last of Us Part II with this polyresin recreation of the iconic third stage of the infected, meticulously crafted by the artists at Level 52.

The Clicker Statue will be limited to pre-orders placed by 5 pm PST on August 2, 2023, and will include a round terrain hand-numbered base with The Last of Us Part ll logo and a certificate of authenticity.

The Last of Us Part II—Clicker Statue is now available to pre-order exclusively from DarkHorseDirect.com for $199.99.

Until next time, the second time we played through The Last of Us, it was less scary for her and weirdly she did not enjoy it as much. I still enjoyed it though and was super happy with the updated version when it dropped.
