‘Mortal Kombat 1’ Adds The Protector Of Time, Gears

NetherRealm Studios continues to add new characters to Mortal Kombat 1 as the release date gets closer. This time, the keeper of the hourglass, Geras, makes his return in a trailer entitled “The Keepers Of Time”.
Alongside some pretty incredible combos and fatalities from both Geras and Liu Kang, the trailer goes into detail on what changes Liu Kang made to ensure this version of reality works out better than the previous ones. Seemingly, Liu Kang has purposely changed some of his enemies in this timeline to make sure they can’t become a threat this time, though Geras seems to hint that this might not have a perfect ending.
Mortal Kombat 1 launches September 19th for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
