The excitement around Dynamite’s Ben 10 comic book continues.
As previously reported, issue #4 sees writer Steven T. Seagle taking the driver’s seat as Stinkfly, the XLR8 transformation, and the villainous Zombozo make their debuts in the new comics continuity — although, one of those characters will have more of a spotlight in the series fifth issue. The fourth will nonetheless also be another chance for Ben 10 fans to see how the original creators are updating the concepts for the 2020s.
Over the weekend, in anticipation of the issue’s final order cutoff, the company offered some preview pages by artist Robert Carey. They’re quite nice, if we can editorialize a bit:
Covers for the issue come courtesy of Carey, Duncan Rouleau, Dustin Nguyen, Sebatian Piriz, and Eric Canete with special variant covers available via Dynamite’s blind bag program. Additionally, the first three issues of the series are going back to print again, with the debut reaching a fourth printing while issues #2 and #3 hitting their third and second printings, respectively.
Clearly, there is a groundswell of interest in the series from fans old and new alike. The new printings and issue #4 are due out next month.
