DC Comics And The Hero Initiative Announces ‘The Superman 100 Project’

The Hero Initiative, in collaboration with DC Comics are celebrating comics’ O.G., Superman, in a huge way with 100 blank covers of Superman #6 (2023) illustrated by some of comicdom’s greatest names, including Alan Davis, Kevin Eastman, José Luis García-López, Dan Jurgens, Ed McGuinness, Frank Miller, Frank Quitely, and more to be put up for a charity auction.
Hero Initiative president Jim McLauchlin states:
“We’re thrilled to collaborate with DC to celebrate Superman and show fans what the character has meant to comics and the culture. The original comic book covers that will be published in The Superman 100 Project are truly impressive and sure to be a hit with fans and collectors.”
The result is The Superman 100 Project, in both limited edition hardcover or softcover, both of which will be released on December 18th collecting all the original sketch covers. And currently all of the Hero Initiative’s 100-plus original Superman sketch covers are on display in The Superman 100 Project,
The original sketch covers will be auctioned off starting in October. A limited-edition hardcover will also be available direct from the Hero Initiative and Third Eye Comics on December 18th.
