Gen Con ’23: Free League Expands On ‘CY_BORG’ With ‘WASTE 20X4’

Sometimes Free League puts out a book and it honestly feels like as much a TTRPG as it does an art piece. Their MÖRK BORG future spin-off CY_BORG is no stranger to this brilliant fusion on artistry and vibe with dice and game design.

For those who have not checked out CY_BORG this link will give you just a taste of the very cyberpunk future setting that is in store for you in this beautifully strange TTRPG offering.

Once you scrub the static stitchwork off your eyes and have come back to reality for a second, let me hit you with this!

WASTE 20X4 expands the acclaimed CY_BORG TTRPG by Stockholm Kartell with additional classes, factions, scenarios, and tables you need to burn down the well-soiled cybercities or build them up as you see fit!

What is super exciting is that there will be rules for car chases and vehicular manslaughter. Hazards and foes to get killed by. And so much more! Vehicular combat and rules are so lacking in the TTRPG space right now so to see Free League coming out swinging with these rules for such a well-loved, and respected, game is just another hallmark of why they are one of my favorite publishers.

CY_BORG WASTE 20X4 is coming in 2024 so stay on the lookout for it! The game is easy to play, easy to enjoy, and easy to hack*!
