Gen Con ’23 — ‘Moria: The Long Dark’ For ‘The One Ring’ TTRPG Coming To Kickstarter August 29

In the fantasy landscape, it is hard to find a world lore that is more foundation than that of J.R.R. Tolkien‘s Middle Earth. Sure, you could be an “Um, actually” and try and argue that fact but the hallmarks of fantasy collected and unified in those stories were foundational to anything that has come since. That’s a line that’s etched fairly firmly in the sand.
What is super exciting is that the amazing publisher Free League has announced Moria: The Long Dark for The One Ring TTRPG setting is Coming to Kickstarter on August 29, 2023!

Moria: The Long Dark is an epic campaign expansion delving into the depths of Khazad-dûm for the award-winning second edition of The One Ring. What is also really exciting is that this expansion will also be published in a version for the Dungeons & Dragons 5E The Lord of the Rings TTRPG fans, under the title Moria: Shadow of Khazad-dûm. So those who are comfortable playing at a 5E table can still enjoy this super cool story setting.
All backers who pledge within the first 24 hours will receive a bonus item that is soon to be revealed and if Free League’s history is any indication whatever that gift is, is going to be super rad. If fully funded, the crowdfunding campaign offers early PDF access to the expansion well before its retail release planned for early next year.
