Created by Guillaume “Run” Renard, MFKZ is a genre-busting comic series that inspired the animated feature film by Ankama Animation and Studio 4C (The Animatrix, Tekkonkinkreet). Fans of the film can finally read the comic that started it all with The Complete MFKZ Series by Run.
The series follows Angelino, a jet-black cueball and his buddy Vinz, who has a flaming skull for a head, as they uncover a mind-boggling global conspiracy. The unlikely duo are pursued by mysterious Men in Black, territorial street gangs, and a team of Mexican wrestlers who’ve been guarding mankind for decades.
Told in 5 volumes, MFKZ is a multi-layered, epic tale of destiny versus self-determination filled with explosive action, humor, and sincere gravitas for the characters involved. The original 600+ page blockbuster comic is coming to Kickstarter and will be available to English-speaking readers for the first time.
