Calling All Cosplayers: Planet Anime Kansas City Wants You

Time to dust off your faerie wings and sharpen your plastic swords – Planet Anime Kansas City is holding a cosplay contest.
The contest is open to cosplayers of all levels to showcase their craftsmanship and performance skills. The event will be held at 7:30 PM CT on October 21, 2023, in Bartle Hall Convention Center’s Great Hall.
The show is accepting up to 40 entries divided into the following categories: Beginner, Intermediate and Master. Contestants also have the option of entering as a skit. You can sign up using the online registration form beginning at 6 PM CT on August 22, 2023. Online registration will close at 6 PM CT on October 3, 2023. Contestants will be notified of their entry status no later than October 14, 2023.
Everyone involved in the contest must have a ticket to Planet Anime, which runs October 21-22, with a preview night on the 20th.
Prizes for the contest will be announced soon.
