UK Production Company AUK Studios Acquires Spiteful Puppet Entertainment

British independent audio and visual creative company AUK Studios has acquired Spiteful Puppet Entertainment, the producer of audio dramas including the popular Robin of Sherwood.
All Spiteful Puppet’s existing properties, which also includes Up Pompeii and The Barren Author, will be transferred with the sale of the company to AUK Studios. Over the next few weeks, operations at Spiteful Puppet will transition to the new owners, who say they will announce the status of ongoing projects.
“We have been extremely lucky to have worked with the Spiteful Puppet team since 2016 – when we first distributed their content – and, in recent years, we have joined forces on award-winning audios,” said Paul Andrews, AUK’s director. “We are very pleased Spiteful Puppet is joining the wider AUK family under AUK Studios.”
AUK Studios has named Spiteful Puppet’s Barnaby Eaton-Jones as its creative director, a role he’s held since 2015. During that time, he has helped grown the studio in a highly competitive market.
“I am humbled to be asked to take up this new position at AUK Studios and we have a raft of exciting projects to be announced in the very near future,” Eaton-Jones said.
