‘Mortal Kombat 1’ Gets Official Launch Trailer

Just in time for the game’s release, NetherRealm Studios has released an official launch trailer for Mortal Kombat 1. The trailer offers further hints about the campaign of the upcoming game, showing where a ton of characters stand in Liu Kang’s rebooted timeline.
It also shows off some of the mini-games available, and the new Invasion mode which will be a board game/RPG mode for players. There’s also a cool glimpse at the alternate Jean Claude Van Damme Johnny Cage skin, which looks just accurate enough that fans will be complaining about it for years.
Mortal Kombat 1 releases for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and Steam today for Kollector and Premium owners, and September 19th for everyone else.
