‘Quest’s End Paladin’– Matthew Lillard Brings Craft Whiskey To The TTRPG Table

I’m a big fan of mashing fandoms together. While the primary focus of Comicon is comics and conventions, I’ve covered sports themed music festivals, concerts, professional wrestling, and several other tangentially related subjects. Comicon’s Happy Hour, the sort-of monthly video series I co-host with Cullen Bunn and Anton Kromoff, is based on our shared interests in horror comics, film, and literature, mashed up with our shared interest in tasty alcoholic beverages. 

A subject that has been mentioned a few times on the show, notably on Happy Hour #9: Mystic Libations with Brandon Kleyla and Todd Stashwick, is Matthew Lillard’s foray into the world of craft whiskey. Please note, I’m spelling it with the “e,” under protest, because that’s how Lillard is spelling it on his website.

Lillard, a well known figure in the table-top role-playing game space, is doing something I absolutely love. He’s making the logical leap between DnD and libation. His first offering under the Quest’s End label of Find Familiar Spirits is called Paladin. Rogue, Warlock, and Dragon will follow.
