‘Echo’ To Debut January 10 On Disney+ And Hulu; Trailer Revealed

Are Echo (Alaqua Cox) and Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) the same? That’s the question being asked by the trailer for Marvel’s upcoming series, Echo.
Set after the events of Hawkeye, Maya Lopez — aka, Echo — leaves New York to reconnect with her roots and family, but Fisk follows her. It leads to an extraordinary display of violence, flashbacks, and violent flashbacks if the trailer is to be believed. It also appears the program will discuss some of the generational trauma experienced by native peoples and Maya’s own struggles as a deaf person. Additionally, as has been well known for awhile, Fisk’s most famous adversary will also follow him into the story.
The five-episode program will be the first Marvel Studios series to be released in its entirety on one day, January 10th, and also the first to debut on both Disney+ and Hulu. Although, it will disappear from the latter on April 9th, 2024. Reports indicate the production was troubled, like a lot of Marvel projects of late, and that the choice to run it as binge show is to get it out there as quickly as possible. The trailer, meanwhile, suggests it is the gritty crime show viewers have been hoping for since Marvel Studios took over television production in 2019. Will Echo end up turning things around?
Echo debuts January 10 on Disney+ and Hulu.
