‘What If…?’ Season 2 Trailer Offers A Holiday Gift

What If…? returns for a second season on December 22nd. But this time, Disney+ is doing something different as a new episode will drop every day for nine days following the debut. The Watcher (Jeffrey Wright) continues to tell tales of the Multiverse that may or may not matter to the on-going live action saga. But he notes things have become “twisted,” which may be a reference to the Kangs or the events of Loki’s second season. Either way, it’s an excuse to put characters in unusual situations — even for the Marvel heroes — and reframe established plots by asking ‘What if?”
