Relive The 90’s With Marvel ’97 Variant Covers

Next year, Marvel revisits one of its most tumultuous decades with the sequel series X-Men ‘97. To celebrate that return, Marvel will be releasing a series of variant covers in February 2024 paying homage to the most radical decade of pop culture.

Across 20 different variant covers by some of the biggest names in comics, Marvel revists the characters, line-ups and design styles of the 1990’s. It’s a wild assortment of covers, featuring versions of costumes you might have forgotten about, lots of bright colors, ponytails, leather jackets and one or two rainbows that would be right at home on school supplies.
