BioWare Releases ‘Dragon Age: Dreadwolf – Thedas Calls’ Trailer

by Sage Ashford

Just three days away from The Game Awards, BioWare has decided to stop more potential speculation of them appearing at the awards by releasing a trailer early for their upcoming game, Dragon Age: DreadwolfFans getting excited about the potential first look at some game play though can calm down, though. This brief teaser instead offers glimpses at some of the environments in the new game, with a few locations on display.

One major difference in this new game is BioWare’s desire to take players through all of Thedas. Rather than focus on any one area, their intention is to allow players to visit the entire setting, with new locations and ones players have experienced in the past. For those looking for a full trailer, the gameplay reveal is planned for Summer 2024.

While that might be a little annoying for people who were expecting to be playing the game by 2024, it’s worth noting that Electronic Arts these days prefers short promotional cycles after their blowout reveals.  Its possible this game releases just a few months after their full release.  For now though, fans can speculate a little while longer.

Dragon Age: Dreadwolf will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.
