Gifts For Gamers 2023: Super7’s D&D ReAction Figures

‘Tis the season for something collectible.
The fine folks over at Super7 have some of the coolest figures in their ReAction figure line. Hands down, my favorite offerings that they have put out so far are these iconic Dungeons & Dragons characters.
Leaping off the covers of classic volumes from the early days of D&D, each one of these ReAction figures comes in a beautifully designed retro blister on the card that’s super clean, but harkens back to a very 1980’s print sensibility.
First up is the Efreeti. This 3.75” scale articulated Figure of an Efreeti is inspired by the cover of the 1e Dungeon Master Guide and depicts the genie from the Elemental Plane of Fire three dimensional. He comes packed with his scimitar accessory for added fun.
Inspired by the cover of the basic set box, the Sorceress commands the mystical arts unknown by all those who do not touch the weave. This 3.75” scale articulated figure comes with a Wand of Fire accessory that I totally thought was a flaming dagger for the longest time. Regardless of my own confusion, this is one heck of a cool figure and perfect for any D&D collectors collection.
Last on the stack is the iconic Githyanki. I was just telling my mother-in-law today what a Githyanki was as I’m playing one in my most recent BG3 playthrough. This 3.75” scale figure of the loyal warrior in the service of the Lich Queen Vlaakitha is inspired by the 1e Fiend Folio and depicts the warrior from the Astral Plane looking ready to do battle with its greatsword accessory.

Until next time, I first found out about these almost a year ago when one of my best friends texted me about them from the convention floor and we both geeked out about them until we could order them. Mine are currently sitting on little display stands on top of my D&D bookshelf in a place of honor because they truly are some epic little figures.
