‘One-Percent Warrior’ Explores What It Means To Be An Action Star

Tak Sakaguchi (Re:Born) stars in a meta-fictional adventure where an actor fights real life yakuza and assassins to become the truest action hero. I’ve been wanting action movies to loosen up about the genre conventions for some time now. Ultimately I’m here for compelling fight choreography so it’s great to see a film that’s being a bit clever with the reason to fight.
