by Tony Thornley
Debuting in 1999, Farscape is one of science fiction’s biggest cult classics. To celebrate the franchise’s anniversary, Boom! Studios and the Jim Henson Company is teaming up again to bring John Crichton, Aeryn Sun and the crew of Moya back to fans.
Announced this week, Boom! and Henson are bringing Farscape back with 25th Anniversary comics, graphic novels and collectables. These awesome collectibles will only be available via the Boom! Direct Reserve campaign launching on February 27.

Farscape is the journey of John Crichton, an Earthling astronaut, who finds himself transported via wormhole to the uncharted territories, while he finds himself aboard a strange living starship filled with criminals and refugees who become his family. Crichton, Aeryn, D’Argo, Chiana, Zhaan and Rygel find themselves hunted by the Peacekeepers, a dangerous fascist empire, and just try to survive against overwhelming odds.
Farscape has become one of the most influential space operas in the genre since its debut. Among its fans is Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn, who called the series one of his favorite shows of all time.
