‘Strawberry Mansion’ — A Charming Trip Through Dreamland

In a future where dreams are recorded and taxed by a surveillance state, an auditor finds himself drawn into the dreams of an aging eccentric. Strawberry Mansion stood out to me because of its handcrafted approached to visual effects and quirky dreamscapes. The film occupies the same alternate reality as the works of Wes Anderson and Boots Riley. I haven’t seen a low-budget indie gem this fun since Dave Made a Maze.
