‘American Hustle’ Headed To 4K And Blu-ray In Limited Edition Steelbook

David O. Russell‘s hit 2013 all-star con artist caper American Hustle will make its 4K debut in a limited Edition Steelbook release in May.
After being captured by the FBI, con artist couple Irving (Christian Bale) and Sydney (Amy Adams) are enlisted by special agent Richie DiMaso (Bradley Cooper) to take part in a major sting operation attempting to bring down a corrupt politician (Jeremy Renner). Inspired by a true story, the disco-era dramedy also stars Robert DeNiro, Shea Whigham, and Jennifer Lawrence.
Co-written and directed by Russell (The Fighter, Three Kings, Silver Linings Playbook), the film was nominated for no less than ten Oscars (including picture, director, and all four acting categories), but went home empty-handed.
The new 4K transfer features English Dolby Atmos + 5.1 audio approved by Russell. Special features include nearly 15 minutes of never-before-seen deleted and extended scenes, a behind-the-scenes documentary, and the theatrical trailer.
American Hustle will be available as a limited edition Steelbook including 4K, Blu-ray, and a digital copy on May 21st.
