‘Madame Web’ Is Swinging To 4K, Blu-Ray, And DVD Later This Month

Already one of this year’s most notorious theatrical releases, Madame Web is now headed to 4K UHD and Blu-ray April 30.
Madame Web takes its inspiration from the pages of Marvel’s Amazing Spider-Man, with Dakota Johnson starring as Cassandra Webb, an NYC paramedic who discovers she has clairvoyant abilities that may have something to do with the “spider world.” She teams with three other women with nascent superpowers (Sydney Sweeney, Isabela Merced, and Celeste O’Connor) to face a future threat and confront their own abilities. Like Sony’s previous Spider-Man Universe entries (Morbius, Venom), Spider-Man does not appear.
Directed by SJ Clarkson (a veteran of Netflix’s Marvel series Jessica Jones and The Defenders), the film stumbled at the box office, and generated endless meme-age online.
Madame Web also stars Tahar Rahim, Mike Epps, Emma Roberts, and Adam Scott.
4K, Blu-Ray, and digital extras include a gag reel, a deleted scene, four behind-the-scenes featurettes, and easter eggs.
A limited edition 4K UHD/ Blu-Ray steelbook (seen below) will also be available.
Madame Web arrives April 30.
