One Hundred Years of Solitude was long thought to be unadaptable. Given the creative freedom within streaming now is the perfect time to introduce magical realism to a wider audience. In a film landscape dominated by High Fantasy, Hard Sci-Fi, and Horror it’s great to see another fabulist genre taking shape.
