Atlus Provides A Glimpse Of “The King’s Trail” In New ‘Metaphor: ReFantazio’ Trailer

Atlus and Studio Zero are getting ready to release their first major new RPG in years with Metaphor: ReFantazio, and have released a new presentation including tons of new information, along with a new trailer entitled “The King’s Trail”.
The exclusive showcase clocks in at almost 26 minutes, containing “The King’s Trial” trailer, but then moving on to information about the game’s world, party members, battle system, method of traversal, and the game’s bonding system. They’ve also promised that future presentations will reveal even more, which seems incredible after an almost half-hour deep dive.
Metaphor: ReFantazio will release at the standard $69.99 price, but they also have plans for a special Collector’s Edition at $149.99. This version will offer a special Steelbook case, an art book, sticker sheets, a map, metallic pins, and the game’s soundtrack. People who pre-order will also receive special bonus content, including the “Archetype EXP Chest Set” which grants special Archetype Experience points in the form of Hero Incenses and Hero’s Fruits, and the “Adventurer’s Journey Pack”, which will grant additional in-game currency, along with healing and revival items.
Metaphor: ReFantazio releases on PlayStation consoles, Xbox Series, Steam, and the Microsoft Store on October 11th.
