Guy Ritchie’s ‘The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare’ Headed To 4K In June

After short-lived theatrical play, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is making a quick deployment to 4K physical and digital release from Lionsgate this June.
The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is the latest smart-ass actioner from prolific writer-director Guy Ritchie (The Gentlemen, The Covenant, the two Sherlock Holmes movies starring Robert Downey Jr.).
The fact-based story recounts the tale of the first-ever special forces organization formed in WWII, initiated by Prime Minister Winston Churchill (Rory Kinnear) and military officials including future James Bond creator Ian Fleming (Freddie Fox). It’s sort of a WWII-era Expendables, featuring a surly crew of tough cookies, led by Gus March-Phillipps (Henry Cavill), on a dangerous secret mission into Nazi Germany using combat and espionage tactics that could only be termed “ungentlemanly.”
It also stars Eiza González, Alan Ritchson, Henry Golding, Til Schweiger, and Cary Elwes.
On June 18th, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare will be available to buy for $14.99, or rent for $5.99.
The physical releases drop June 25th, with the 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital going for $42.99, the Blu-ray + DVD + Digital retailing for $39.99, and the DVD priced at $29.96.
An Amazon exclusive SteelBook version with alternate art will also be available June 25th for the suggested retail price of $39.99.
Special features include a behind-the-scenes look called “The Ministry of Filmmaking,” and the theatrical trailer.
