by David Lewis
Looking for a summer movie binge project?
MGM’s Rocky, Rocky II, Rocky III, Rocky IV, Rocky V and Rocky Balboa will be available together on 4K for the first time this July from Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment.
Presented in newly remastered 4K Ultra HD, the sprawling boxing saga stars the one and only Sylvester Stallone as the titular pugilist who goes from underdog to champ to underdog to champ again, building unforgettable relationships, winning Oscars, and spawning some of the cheesiest sequels ever made along the way. Co-stars include Talia Shire, Burgess Meredith, Burt Young, Carl Weathers, Mr. T, Dolph Lundgren, and Sage Stallone.

The Rocky I-VI 4K Collection includes all six films, along with the Rocky IV Ultimate Director’s Cut (AKA Rocky vs. Drago), and the Rocky Balboa Director’s Cut. The only titles missing from the saga are the recent Creed spin-offs.
The collection brings together previously available special features, plus a Blu-ray that includes an hour-long documentary on the making of the director’s cut of Rocky IV. Rocky Balboa‘s new features include a Stallone commentary, deleted scenes, behind the scenes featurettes, and an alternate ending.
Rocky V and Rocky Balboa will also be available separately in steelbook packaging, for fans who already have the previously available first four films.
The Rocky I-VI 4K Collection arrives on 4K Ultra HD on July 16th.
