Rise Of The Powers Of X: Previewing This Week’s ‘X-Men’ Comics
by Olly MacNamee
This is it, folks. The end of an era for the X-Men and one of the most intriguing and original chapters I’ve read in all my years of collecting the X-Men comics. In fact it was Johnathan Hickman’s involvement that got me back into collecting the X-Men after a good few decades away from the title. And while Hickman’s early exit to go chase that Substack money may have left the whole blueprint somewhat incomplete, the likes of writers Gerry Duggan and and Kieron Gillen coming on board helped save the day somewhat. And so, for one last time of the Krakoan Age, let’s preview the forthcoming new X-Men books with X-Men #35/#700 being the one you’re all going to want to grab.
