Arrow Presents Stephen King, Nico Mastorakis, And More ‘Gomorrah’ For Your July Cult Streaming Pleasure

Arrow Video’s cult streaming service is going global for its July lineup, featuring Kiwi chills, gems from Greek filmmaker Nico Mastorakis, the final battle of the Italian crime drama Gomorrah, and more.
First up is an Arrow exclusive in the form of New Zealand psychological terror. Loop Track stars writer-director-actor Tom Sainsbury (Guns Akimbo) as a hiker whose solo jaunt into the wild takes a very unexpected turn after he meets up with a group of hikers who believe they’re being followed. Loop Track is also getting a physical release this July. Sainsbury also teamed up with the streamer to recommend titles to viewers, including The Navigator, Sting of Death, and The Time Traveller.
July will also bring six more episodes from the fifth and final series of the Italian crime epic Gomorrah, in which the war between Ciro (Marco D’Amore) and Genny (Salvatore Esposito) comes to an explosive conclusion.
The month will also offer three new short films, including David Yorke’s canine comedy horror Eric, Julia Marchese’s Stephen King adaptation I Know What You Need, and Bryan M Ferguson’s techno-terror Earworm.
Arrow is preparing a Blu-ray boxset of some of Greek director Nico Mastorakis‘ outrageous films, and two of them will be featured on the streaming service. Ninja Academy, which sounds like the title says it all, and The Naked Truth, where Mastorakis pays tribute to Billy Wilder‘s 1959 classic Some Like It Hot.
July’s Arrow Selects section is curated by Mick Garris (director of the 1994 King miniseries The Stand) and focuses on classic Japanese horror titles from the turn of the millennium, including Dark Water, Ringu, and Audition.
Meanwhile, Arrow’s other physical releases for July include The Man From U.N.C.L.E., and The Last Starfighter, while their August roster features Silence of the Lambs, Heathers, and more.
