Dive Deep Into Marvel Comics History With New 85th Anniversary Variants

85 years ago, Marvel Comics was founded. All year long, the publisher has been celebrating that anniversary. In August, a group of five superstar artists continue that celebration with special homage variant covers.

Elizabeth Torque, Jan Bazaldua, Joelle Jones, David Yardin and Paco Medina’s homage variants will create modern images of Marvel’s greatest heroes, while homaging some of the most iconic covers from Marvel’s early Golden Age years. They’ll be available as variants on August’s Fantastic Four, Hulk, Venom, X-Men and Amazing Spider-Man.
