Return To The 1980s With Retro Beat ‘Em Up ‘The Karate Kid: Street Rumble’
by Sage Ashford
While Cobra Kai has been super popular, Odaclick Game Studio and GameMill Entertainment are inviting players to go back to the ’80s with The Karate Kid: Street Rumble. In Street Rumble, players will have access to classic protagonists from all three of the original movies, including Daniel LaRusso, Mr. Miyagi, Ali Mills, and Kumiko.
Players will travel through a dozen different stages battling against the major antagonists of the first three films: Johnny Lawrence, John Kreese, Terry Silver, and more. With some slick retro chiptune music and gorgeous pixel art designed to give fans of the 16-bit era fits of nostalgia, Street Rumble certainly looks amazing. If it’s as good as it looks, beat ’em up fans will have one more game to spend their time in the fall.
The Karate Kid: Street Rumble releases September 20th for PlayStation and Xbox consoles, Steam, and Nintendo Switch.
