We’ll end this week with a trip back in time to Classic X-Men and the beauty of John Bolton’s work. Classic X-Men from 1986 reprinted Chris Claremont’s run on Uncanny X-Men, complete with new material set between the events of the main reprint strip. For much of the early run of CX-M, these back-ups were done by John Bolton, beautifully painted things that just shone bright…
Here’s one from between X-Men #118-119, with something of a prelude to the upcoming Dark Phoenix saga with Mastermind influencing Jean Grey’s mind.
