‘Godzilla Minus One’ Is Finally Lumbering To 4K UHD, Blu-ray And DVD In The US

The Oscar-winning Kaiju epic Godzilla Minus One is finally stomping its way to 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD in the United States. After months of waiting, fans will soon have four different ways to bring the big guy home, including a steelbook set that includes 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and a Blu-ray bonus disc. There will also be a regular 4K release, a Blu-ray only release, and a DVD version.
The 2023 film turns back the clock on decades of Godzilla features (this is number 37!) and is set in the final days and aftermath of WWII, where a kamikaze pilot (Ryunosuke Kamiki) is haunted by an encounter with a mysterious creature who turns out to be Godzilla. Written and directed by Takashi Yamazaki, it also stars Minami Hamabe, Yuki Yamada, Munetaka Aoki, Hidetaka Yoshioka, and Sakura Ando.
The release date and a list of extra features will be announced at a later time. However, it must be noted that unlike the Godzilla Minus One Blu-ray set available in Japan, these US releases do not include the black and white version of the film, Godzilla Minus One/Minus Color. So this set is actually Godzilla Minus One minus Minus Color.
