Secret Level is a new adult-animated anthology series From the creative minds behind Love, Death + Robots. The 15 episode series will feature original stories set within the worlds of popular video games including: Armored Core, Concord, Crossfire, Dungeons & Dragons, Exodus, Honor of Kings, Mega Man, New World: Aeternum, PAC-MAN, Sifu, Spelunky, The Outer Worlds, Unreal Tournament and Warhammer 40K.
A fan of video game art and adult animation this is excellent news! I believe that animated video game adaptations have had a better track record overall. There are some video game concepts that are so over-the-top that they lend themselves better to animation. With Arcane Season 2, Devil May Cry, and Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft all slated to release this year, its going to be a packed season for video game fans.
Secret Level arrives on Amazon Prime Video December 10th.
