GungHo Online Entertainment Announces ‘Lunar Remastered Collection’

GungHo Online Entertainment has announced that two of the greatest PlayStation 1 era RPGs are being remastered in the form of the Lunar Remastered Collection. Two games that defined ’90s-era JRPGs, both Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete and Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete are getting a complete remastered treatment here.
Both games are getting a new English voice over, but for the first time both Japanese VA and subtitles will be available, alongside French and German subtitles as well. They’re also offering enhanced pixel art, wide-screen support, and a high-definition version of all the anime cutscenes. They’ll also be adding the ability to speed through battles for players who want to avoid spending too much time locked in turn-based combat.
Lunar Remastered Collection will launch for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Steam, and Nintendo Switch in the Spring.
