TeeTurtle And Nickelodeon Team Up To Create Awesome ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ Swag
by Anna Lindwasser
Avatar: The Last Airbender is one of those series that is beloved by people of all generations. As a millennial, I have fond adolescent memories of watching it with my siblings on the most dysfunctional streaming platforms imaginable. But I teach Gen Alpha kids, and they still love Avatar. With its complex characters, well-developed world and power system, and interesting political messages, it’s truly stood the test of time.
Whatever your age, if you love Avatar, you might want some merch to show the world how much you love it. That’s where TeeTurtle comes in. This LBGTQ+ owned company makes adorable fandom swag, and this time they’ve teamed up with Nickelodeon to celebrate this beloved series.

If your plushie collection needs a refresher, the Momo 4″ Reversible Plushie and the Appa 6″ Reversible Plushie. If you’ve ever been to an anime convention, you’ve probably seen their adorable reversible plushes before – these are just like those bunnies and jellyfish. They’re well-made, cuddly, and cute as heck. If your Avatar collection isn’t complete without the human characters, you can get the Plushmates Besties set featuring Aang, Katara, Toph, and Zuko. They have magnetic hands, which means that you can do everything from arranging them in battle poses to acting out your favorite ships.
Prefer your fandom merch to be a little more practical? There’s also the Momo and Appa Plushie Fanny Packs, which are great for carrying small items. Need more space? The Appa Plushie Tote Bag might be the perfect item for you.
The collection is already available on Amazon, BoxLunch, and FYE and will be dropping at TeeTurtle.com on October 21st.

Writer’s Note: As compensation for this announcement, I will receive a sample from the collection. That said, I genuinely do think the items are super cute, and as a queer person myself I’m always excited to support LGBTQ+ owned businesses.
