‘The Power Fantasy’ #1 And #2 Sell Out Again And Get New Print Runs

All print editions of The Power Fantasy #1 and #2 by Kieron Gillen (The Wicked + The Divine, Die, Star Wars: Darth Vader) and Caspar Wijngaard (Home Sick Pilots, All Against All) have sold out at the distributor level triggering Image Comics to order new print run.
The new editions will also feature new art. And Gillen explains his thoughts on the new cover art for The Power Fantasy #1, fourth printing and The Power Fantasy #1, third printing:
“For the fourth printing of Issue 1, we wanted to highlight the complexities of Valentina in a set. She’s an angel… but is she really? For the third printing of issue 2, we thought we’d highlight some of the cover designs Rian cooked up for the series when we were pulling it together. In fact, we liked this basic layout so much it’s a strong influence on the trade cover when it drops. Also: thanks for all the support. This is a lot of printings for a book, and to see this thing which means everything to us finding an audience is a joy.”
Wijngaard added:
“It’s so incredible that we’re still finding new readers, five reprints across two issues before the third has even hit the shelves is wild! Thank you all for the continued support!”
The Power Fantasy #1, fourth printing and The Power Fantasy #2, third printing will be out on Wednesday, November 6th.
The Power Fantasy #3 will be out on Wednesday, October 23.
The Power Fantasy #4 will be out on Wednesday, November 20.
The Power Fantasy #5 will be out on Wednesday, December 18.
