Witness The Tale Of ‘William Tell’ In New Trailer

The legend of William Tell is reimagined by director Nick Hamm (after the play by Friedrich Schiller) as a full medieval epic starring Ben Kingsley, Jonathan Pryce, and Connor Swindells. I first heard of William Tell in an Adventures of Peabody and Sherman episode where the cartoon characters travel back in time to help Tell successfully shoot an apple atop a boys head. In the new film, he appears to be a legend similar to Robin Hood: an expert marksman who slays a tyrant and kicks off a revolution. As a fan of period piece action adventure films, I look forward to seeing William Tell up on the big screen.
William Tell is set to debut in the UK in January.
