Legendary Visual Novel ‘Steins;Gate’ Is Being Rebooted

In honor of Steins;Gate’s 15th anniversary, developer MAGES has confirmed the title will be receiving a reboot via a new teaser trailer. For now, not much is known about Steins;Gate RE:BOOT, other than that it’ll have improved graphics and new story elements.
One of the most popular visual novels of the late 2000s, Steins;Gate was originally part of the Science Adventure franchise, a series of sci-fi visual novels that took place in the same universe but covering different sci-fi concepts. The franchise was so successful most of the novels were adapted into some of the most critically acclaimed anime of the 2010s.
For now, Steins;Gate RE:BOOT is only confirmed for a 2025 release in Japan.
